1. What do I need to
do to get my glasses ordered?
All you need is your prescription
and your pupillary distance (PD).
2. How do I get my P.D.
(Pupillary Distance) measured?
This measurment is necessary to
ensure the positioning of your lenses within the
frame you have chosen.
Most adults/' PD/'s are between
55-65.
Most kids /'PD/'s are between
42-54.
PD means "Pupillary Distance",
Pupillary Distance is the distance from the center
of the pupil in one eye to the center of the pupil
in the other eye.

1.Place ruler (in mm) on the
bridge of your nose.>
2.Get someone to measure the
distance between the centers of your pupils with
your eyes looking into the distance.
3.Or you can do it yourself
simply by looking in the mirror.
A good prescription should
always have PD written in the first place and you/'ve
the right to ask for it, if it/'s not written in
your prescription.
Note: You can also get this
information from your doctor or from optician. It
will take only seconds to do and they shouldn’t
charge you for it.

3. What if my frames
need minor adjustment after I receive them?
All frames are thoroughly inspected and aligned
prior to shipping. If you need a minor adjustment,
most optical stores will do it for free.
4. How long does it
take to receive my eyeglasses?
Full Rim frame is about 15days, while Rimless
frame will take up to 20 days.
5. What if I entered
some information incorrectly?
Immediately call or send an email alerting us
because we process orders very rapidly. For this
reason we ask you to please double-check your
prescription and shipping information prior to
submitting your order.

6. Why are we
different?
Because we understand eyewearers/' need for a
comfortable pair of glasses. As professional
opticians and with many years of experiences behind
us, we can easily pre adjust frames to a most
comfortable fitting for most wearers as we
understand them very well.
7. How can we discount
eyeglasses so much?
Gayatri opticals was developed by eye doctors to
create an inexpensive method for people to acquire
high quality, finished prescription eyeglasses
online. From their experience in both private
offices and retail establishments, the founders
decided they could provide this service for people
inexpensively, bypassing expensive retail
establishments.
We use the same high quality materials, but can
offer them at a high discount because of our high
volume, since we don/'t have the additional overhead
constraints (such as retail rent space,
behind-the-counter employees, and expensive
displays) that your doctor/'s office or optical must
overcome. And now in these days this website is much
less expensive than a typical retail establishment,
we are able to pass these savings on to the general
public online.

8. What is your
guarantee policy?
Prior to shipping, each pair of eyeglasses is
inspected by a certified technician to ensure the
accuracy of the prescription and proper alignment of
the frame. Further, they are packaged in an
attractive hard case for protection. In the unlikely
event that your glasses arrive with a defect, we
will replace them completely free of charge.
In the unlikely event your new glasses need to be
remade for reasons beyond our control (e.g. your
doctor changes your prescription, you would like to
select a different style, or if you accidentally
enter incorrect prescription information), we will
gladly do so for only some charges, plus
shipping/packaging. We do this only to ensure our
ability to continue to provide the public with the
lowest-priced, high-quality prescription glasses
anywhere.

9. Can I just order
frames/lenses with no prescription in them?
Yes! You/'ll need to enter PLANO for the sphere (SPH)
powers, so we don/'t think you "just forgot" to
enter any prescription at all.
